About the Event
Daisy Caire is a flatpicking guitarist, vocalist, fiddler, and songwriter based in Northern California. A 2021 nominee for IBMA's Instrumentalist of the Year Momentum Award, her bluegrass roots mix with groovy old-time and intricate originals to create a unique, varied sound. Daisy is joined by mandolinist Jasper Manning of Charlie Torch and singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lucas Lawson. The trio’s intimate harmonies and instrumental prowess are not to be missed!
Daisy released her debut solo album “Chasin’ After the Wind” at sixteen, called a “beautiful, soulful, and mature debut” by Scott Nygaard and produced by Laurie Lewis. She now performs around the Bay Area while studying Physics at UC Berkeley.
