Celebrating 25 Years (!) since he first took to Sacramento stages, Lee Bob has assembled some of his favorite local talent to join him for a special evening at Sacramento's premier listening room, The Side Door.
Lee Bob returns with new music - 'Free EP' - an intimate collection of up close and personal songs - his first solo release following a trilogy of records with the rock n roll band 'Lee Bob & The Truth'.
Lee Bob Trio features Gabe Nelson (Bellygunner, Cake) on bass and Tom Monson (Bellygunner, Anton Barbeau, David Houston) on drums. The night will likely feature surprise guests and unscripted interpolations.
Featured guest Harley White Jr is a jazz and soul composer and songwriting veteran of the Sacramento and Oakland scenes. His orchestra provides a living link to the hallowed grounds of Ellingtonia, Armstrong, Earl Hines, etc.
With BYC - Black Yacht Club - Harley enlists some of Sacto's finest to explore the depths of soul, funk and art music through indelible songwriting and a singular, provocative and ebullient point of view.
BYC will feature Jacob Swedlow and Miguel Recendrez from Sacto's top notch ascendent house-band, 'Labrats'.
