Red Dog Ash Bluegrass Band

Red  Dog Ash is an award-winning bluegrass band from California’s central  valley. The quintet is known for its original compositions, hard-driving  tunes, tight harmonies, and authentic high-lonesome vocals.

Based out of the Central Valley, the band’s original music pays homage to the area’s people and history.

Inspired  by the bluegrass tradition, smart and passionate in its performance,  the band’s unique sound has recently, and aptly, been called —  Soulgrass.

Now  in their 8th year, the band has performed at venues and festivals  across California, as well as Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona.

Red  Dog Ash is Brian Clark (bass/vocals), Julie Cooper (fiddle), Mark Peet  (banjo), Gary Vessel  (mandolin/vocals), and Jason Winfree  (guitar/vocals).
